It’s impossible to remain ungrateful when my college and hotel taught me so many important life lessons. From lessons on sustainability. I knew I was prepared for life.
The process of getting my college education was where the real learning happened.
– Me
College I learnt patience
Our professors were never on time.

I got me frustrated
Me In my first year
I bought books to read
Me in my second year
I came along with the professors to class.
Me in third year
Hostel I learnt survival
Before, I go ahead, let’s presume I don’t have an idea what running water and electricity meant to make the story more interesting

my room temperature matched up to the Sahara’s.
In my first year,
I was welcomed by unwanted guest such as the Bedbugs and occasionaly shared the bed with rats
In the second year
I was back to square one, living in a tin box, under the scorching sun.
in my third
During my stay, I learnt how to operate a washing machine, to learning to live under unfathomable heat.
Being uncomfortable prepared me for my first job living in the mountains.

The Mountains

Me: *nom nom* while stuffing a piece of cake in my mouth
Universe : She seems to be having a jolly good time *snaps finger* No water
Me : * has stuffed mouth* tells the universe, been there, done that, try something new.
Universe : * Snaps fingers* washing machine stops working
Me : that was mean
Universe: *Aha* now *snaps* lights off hmmm let’s say for a week
Me : ———– * fakes death* gets back on feet. Sings ” I will survive by Gloria.
Whatever you are going through, you should know it teaching you a lesson on something you dont know about yet. Take it in, suck it up cupcake.
