Hi, so the other day my friend and I decided we needed to catch up so we went for lunch. The usual me, started talking about what matters in life . I made a declaration saying happiness is overrated. I just vented out my feelings and expressed my concern about happiness. Never knowing that someone would actually write about it. I have never felt so happy before. I was having a conversation with one of my friends today. We ended up going a little philosophical and she said “why are people searching for happiness every time?” I didn’t pay much attention until she asked me “Have you ever prepared yourself to be angry or searched for something that could make you angry? Why do you keep on searching for things that will give you happiness? Why don’t you let that emotion sink in by itself?” Her question actually made me think how all of us are obsessed with the idea of being happy and that seems to be the only aim of our lives.
